I thought today we would brave the nasty weather..
and look around the garden..
for white rabbits...

First to set the mood though..
I wanted to share this gorgeous Easter post card,
of yes... white rabbits!
O.K. grab your boots cause it is muddy here today!
Here is a white rabbit on the patio..
guarding the tulips.
This white rabbit is a weathervane topper...
on top of the gazebo.
At night his silhouette...
reminds me of the cow that jumped over the moon,
just the rabbit version.
I have a few rabbits in this style...
they strike me as guard rabbits,
so I like to set them beside pathways.
My lady of the garden even has her own rabbit..
do you see it?
At the edge, by her knee.
A vase of garden fresh flowers...
viburnum burwoodii & bridal wreath spirea.
and some lounging rabbits,
they are salt and pepper shakers.

I don't have any statue bunnies in my yard...but I do have a lot of real bunnies! They don't sit so nice and still for pictures however! :-)

I like the weathervane bunny! The black and white bunnies are different than most ceramic bunnies. Happy Easter, Joan

What wonderful concrete statues. I'm sure it makes walking through your garden that much fun.
The trick to that is that the pond in in a medium aluminium bucket which sits on the patio. The concreate heats up the water becuase it is above ground. Thus tricking the plants that it is mid spring. Im glad you liked the iris. They are beautiful but the bloom is short lived. Have a good day...Julian

I have that same bunny weathervane sitting in front of my fireplace. I love him! Got it at Target for a great price about 6 years ago. Love all you bunnies!
