Iron Chairs...

I am having a 100 subscribers giveaway!

I have been looking for a pair of iron chairs,
for the back patio for along time.

Today.. on the way to the grocery store there they were,
sitting in front of a thrift store!

Here they are...
SO YELLOW... I will be shopping for some fabric,
and recovering them very soon!
I would like to put a short ruffled skirt around them..
I'll show you how it turns out.

Here is a close up of the back...
I heart the rose pattern!

Cosmo wanted to
Show and Tell his ball..
he says it is much better than silly chairs:-)

He waited so patiently (not)...
while I took pictures.
Have a Great Day!

Today I am joining Cindy at My Romantic Home
For Show and Tell Friday

Stop in and join the fun:-)

Thanks for stopping by,

I love those chairs. I like them the way they are, but I am sure you will improve them. I know how it is to have your dog begging to play while you are busy.

Those are so pretty. I have a pair, too, but I love the yellow on them. Too bad they need replacing.

I looove your chairs, I can hardly wait to see the reveal when you have them in their new outfits! :) Thanks for visiting my blog and I wanted to share that I looked on YouTube and found a wonderful video that I was able to really learn how to do the icing roses, if I can do it, I know you can too! Truly, they were my first try! Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs

Love these, could you stencil over the yellow a design, that cover seems so functional for outside. Then maybe pretty cloth floral pillows as accents. They are so bright and cheery.

Oh those are gorgeous!!! What a great find! I saw some similar barstools on Craigslist once, 2 for $20 and to this day I kick myself for not buying them!

Dreamy! I picked up 4 ice cream parlor chairs with the matching table for FIVE DOLLARS. One of these days I'll blog about them!

I have these exact chairs...but mine were in much condition, ver rusty and the cushions were hideous, organge and gold print, something from the 60's or 70's.I also have the matching table, couch, and footstools. I paid $200 for the whole set, but it was a lot of pieces. I had to replace the foam on the chairs and the couch, repaint all of it and re-cover all of it. It's such a pretty set though.

I had a whole dining set growing up of similar chairs. Just re-did one of the chairs and made it into a planter. Stop by my blog and view the post: Chair planter.
Love the intricate roses on your chairs. I used to recover mine with plastic table cloths since they sat outside and was able to change them whenever I wanted to since it was inexpensive.
Can't wait to see what you do with your chairs.
