The Buzz...

I have been enjoying my garden all week.
These little guys have been buzzing around...
yes... as busy as bees :-)

(click photos to enlarge)

Hum
"What is this dark hum among the roses?
The bees have gone simple, sipping, that's all.
What did you expect?  Sophistication?
They're small creatures
and they are filling their bodies with sweetness,
how could they not moan in happiness?"

I had to make this second mosaic.
I enjoyed watching this chubby bumble bee so much!

See how he flies in..
then lands, using his weight to spread the petals..
then dives in for the nectar.
Sweet :-)

Today I am joining Mary at Little Red House
For MOSAIC MONDAY

Thanks for visiting,

Love your pics! I do not like bugs... but bees are the exception!!! Love them, and they do a very important job in the veggie/fruit garden!

Hi Bella,
I love your bee mosaics! Sweet! Bees are such wonderful busy little creatures. I love them and have always wished to have my own hives of bees.
We have some big fat bumblebees hanging around but there aren't many flowers around yet for them!

Hi Bella,

Good to see the bees are making a comeback! They've been scarce in these parts. We need them desperately for the citrus and avocado crops.

Great shots of bees. The top photo in the second mosaic is just awesome Bella. I was enjoying the different kinds of pollinators whizzing around today myself while out doing some gardening.

What great photos of the Bees at work! I had the biggest one I have ever seen today in the sitting room lace curtains. It sure was happy when I released him outside again. Enjoy your week!

Lovely mosaic Bella! And thanks for stopping by mine. You live in Puyallup? Cool! I lived in Seattle for 22 years and "Did the Puyallup" every year! Loved it!

Oh I've never watched a bumblebee that closely to see how he goes in for the nectar, but I'm glad that you have and that you shared. I'll be more observant from now on. It's not easy getting a bumblebee capture so I'm very impressed with all of yours. Lovely mosaic and a beautiful blog you have here!
