Cherub Compote Makeover...

The rain isn't all bad
it gives me time for a little playing..

(click photos to enlarge)

and transformation :-)

I have a lot of odds and ends,
I pick up at garage sales.

These guys were ready for their makeover!

The tools...  paints, brushes, and a file for scuffing..

Messy painting and scuffing is good therapy :-)

The frills...
Garden fresh Eden Roses,  Lady's Mantle
cutters, and a little block of florists oasis.

Don't forget cut flower food they last so much longer!

Oh la la... much better!

Aren't they sweet?

Today I am joining..

Looks absolutely lovely, and with such beautiful roses! Ive painted most of my gold and metallic stuff creamy or white this year and they look so much better. I would love those roses in my garden, best wishes Betty x

It looks so pretty now-especially with those Eden roses. I have a very similar cherub so now I know how to use it!

Beautiful! The makeover and the roses. Actually those roses are just INCREDIBLE! What a lovely full bloom they have, and such a soft pink. And a perfect match for the repainted vase.
