Garage Sale Roses...

Saturday... I went out to a few more garage sales.
So,  I thought I would share with you
some of the pretties I found :-)

(click photos to enlarge)

Roses Roses Roses
I bought these all at one sale
for three dollars!

These two rosy cups,  no saucers...

They match.. the bud is on one side
and  the bloom on the other.

I thought they had an unusual stamp..
the only word I can read is China.

Here is one of the two plates I bought,
they are Hand Painted
Prussian China
Royal  Ruddlstadt.

They were by far my favorite purchase.
When your heart pitter patters
for one dollar a piece plates
it's a good day!

Here is a close up of the beautiful roses
on the first plate...

and...  A close up of the second plate,
it has a hair line crack,
but I am not complaining...

I would love to be talented enough to paint
dreamy roses like this!

and... Here is a little oval bowl
by Homer Laughlin
with some more delicate roses.

I am going to use it in the bathroom
to hold some pretty soaps.

So all and all it was a very rosy day :-)

Today.. I am joining
Linda at Coastal Charm

Hi Bella :) You found yourself some fabulous rosey china!! The cups are so sweet, and the plates are gorgeous!! Royal Rudolstadt can be very pricey! I have 3 plates in one rose pattern, and a berry bowl set in another rose pattern, and I LOVE them!! They have some of the most gorgeous roses painted on them, like yours does! I think I might do my post for Pink Saturday with some of my pink rose china, and include photos of them!

Thanks for sharing with us your gorgeous finds. I love stopping by to see your sweet treasures :) Have a great week!!

Warmest Hugs, Brenda

What a wonderful find. The little oval dish will be lovely to hold soap, I would never have thought of that.

Nice rosy treasures you found. I like the plates and the bowl will be nice with soaps in it. I wonder if you can still buy those little soaps that look like roses?

Oh my goodness, Bella, these are absolutely stunning. I just love them. The roses are just so gorgeous. I can see why your heart was doing the pitter patter waltz of happiness. Mine would have been too.

Now I have the itch for going out garage sale-ing and thrift store shopping.

Have a beautiful evening,

Aren't those rose painted plates amazing? So beautiful, and one of a kind. At that price you can have as many as you want! And don't they make wonderful gifts? But I always find them too hard to give away! Jacqueline

Hi Bella. You sure have been on a lucky streak for pretty dishes. I recently bought a tea cup and saucer at a thrift store. The lady checking me out let me know that it had a chip. I said "but it's chintz"! Hope you keep up the lucky steak.
