Peony Tablescape...

It's time for another Tablescape Thursday...

I took the leaf back out of my dining room table again...
since it's just the two of us,
I enjoy the coziness.

And since truthfully...
 to me...
 it's all about the flowers!

A great big bouquet of Peonies with tufts of Lady's Mantle...
In a cut crystal wine chiller.

Smells so good!

Since I was in a pink mood...
I used my Pink Depression Glassware.

this water pitcher I picked up antiquing
in the early spring.

All the glassware doesn't match
but... I love mix and match best :-)

Isn't the swirl pattern pretty
with the light shining through it?

and this relish dish...
that I just as often use for sugar...
or potpourri :-)

Here's an overview...

Here is the place setting...
The silverware is the set I usually show,
it was my Grandmothers.

Here is the plate stack..

The bottom is a set I bought at Marshall's
pattern name "cottage"
so simple
with a basket weave design.

The center plate is Martha Stewart
Wedgwood
Martha's Garden Rose

The little fruit bowl on the top is vintage
Edwin Knowles.

Don't forget to go visit some more lovely tablescapes!

Today I am joining...
Susan at Between Naps on the Porch

Thanks for visiting me today!

I love your pink depression--that's a lovely tablescape. I have all my grandmother's depression glass, and had a pitcher very similar to yours, or just like it. That is the one piece of all of hers that has broken! She has some wonderful serving pieces. Happy mid week !

Oh, Bella, I love the pink depression glass. I have a few pieces passed down to me from my Aunt which were my Grandmother's, and I'm always on the lookout for more. Beautiful setting. Love it.

Bella - I love the way you tablescape. Just beautiful! And peonies are certainly the most perfect flower for the centerpiece. That small "cottage" dish set you have looks just like a couple that were handed down from my grandmother.

I will be happily following your blog! Just lovin' it!

Hugs ~
