Whites in the Garden...

I am going to take you into the garden today..
No boots or umbrellas required today!
It's a beautiful day for gardening..
and I have been out enjoying it all day!

(click photos to enlarge)

A cute little white trellis,
I bought at Joann's Fabrics this spring.

I can't remember this plants name..
it has been in one of my flower beds for a few years.
It has the loveliest clusters of purple flowers,
and.. it is the most aggressive creeper!

I finally gave up on the battle and dug it out
and potted a bit of it.

A close-up of white Alyssum.
It's easy to overlook just how pretty
these clumps of tiny flowers are...
It's also nice being so close,
because they smell so good:-)

My Columbines are holding on...

The Delphiniums are really starting to bloom...

I love this white one with the layers of ruffled petals..

My foxgloves are starting to bloom too..
so elegant...

This white wire dress form is on my back patio..

I bought this little hanging tin wall pocket
at a garage sale.
and made her a pocket of flowers for her skirt :-)

That's all for today..
I hope you enjoyed searching the garden for whites
with me:-)

Today I am joining two fun parties!

Hi Bella :) You have some lovely white flowers in your garden! I so need to get more color into mine, which mainly has hostas. I have a few Peony plants, but only 2 of the 5 actually produced flowers this year. They still have some growing to do, so I must give them time.

Love the white dress form you have on your patio. I have a smaller one in my sewing room :) Aren't they just the cutest things!

Warmest Hugs, Brenda

What a lovely selection of whites from your garden. The columbine especially is such an elegant form. I really like the mannekin frame on your patio, I'd seen them, but couldn't think of where people would place them, I'm always amazed at peoples resourcefulness. But seeing it outside, with the sweet pocket, I'm imaging ivy curling over it.

Your flowers are so pretty!! You DO have a lot of whites. I have some foxglove and delphinium but they haven't bloomed yet {I am in the Midwest}. I can't wait!

Love the dress form. It would be pretty in a floral dress! ;-D

Hi there. I love your gorgeous cottage garden.
I wish I could grow delphiniums, but the wind blows them too much here alas. But I enjoyed yours. Thank you.

Hi Bella,
Love that you have all those cottage flowers in white. Here they sell them in color. Yours are wonderful. Did you buy plants or grow them from seed? So pretty!

Hi Bella,

We share a love of flowers - and seem to be growing a lot of the same! Delphiniums don't do so well here, but alyssum and foxgloves thrive and reseed themselves with wild abandon!

Hello Bella - I have the same purple mysteries and posted them on my blog - could you take a look and see if they are the same as yours? I put them here: http://dustybay.blogspot.com/p/what-is-that.html . Have you found out what your are? Oh and your garden looks lovely - as always!

Thank you for stopping by my new blog and commenting on my very first Teacup Tuesday post. It's been so much fun to connect with other gals who have a similar love for beautiful things.

Your garden is lovely!!!

And I can tell by your next two posts that I had better start attending garage sales. I am a thrift store shopper, and I can often find some lovely things there, but your garage sale finds are spectacular. Maybe I'll have similar luck.
