Flowers, Peas and Pods...

I though today I would share,
some random pretties from around the garden...
(click photos to enlarge)

The magical purple spheres of Verbena...

The most vividly colored Lupine...

The lazy grace of Foxgloves...

Volunteer Kenilworth Ivy reseeds itself freely about the garden,
this was a lovely by chance planting,
Rockcress is mixed in and still blooming a little...

My first blooms of my Simply Marvelous Rose,
well named,  I believe!

A stand of Lavender Poppies...

Their whimsical seed pods...

A perfect bud,
on the Zephirine Drouhin Rose....

So pretty...
I had to show it again from the other side,
I couldn't decide which I liked better:-)

The gracefulness of the veggies can't be overlooked...

The Snow Peas are abundant.
Cashew tofu with fresh snow peas, Mmmm!

OMG Bella! We even BOTH have an orb in our first picture! But I always have to go way out of my way if I'm going to get some gorgeous flowers! Lovely, lovely--Jacqueline (I just had some chocolate chip cookies after I got my post done--what are you going to do--it's still early!

Hi Bella
I see warm weather starting to creep back but we did have the fireplace on last night.
Your roses look so healthy while my few have a lot of leaves eaten by sawfly larvae. Are you using anything to control pests on yours?
Thought you'd be proud of me for buying something at a garage sale, and totally worth it. :-)

Bella, You have a lot of beauty in your garden. We enjoyed our snow peas but they are finished now. I will replant more for a fall crop. Thanks for the invite to the garden blog hop!

Good Morning Sweet Bella...
What a beautiful post. I have so enjoyed my tour of the gardens. The verbenas have always been one of my favorites and yours are just exquisite. I love the lupine, so elegant. And oh what beautiful foxgloves. Do you ever remember picking them as a child, and trying to wear one on each of your fingers? We loved doing that as kids. Grandma certainly didn't like the blooms stripped though.

Your Simply Marvelous Rose is so fragrant it takes my breath away with the elegance of its beauty. The color is so gorgeous. The petals perfect as a beautiful Summer Day. Thank you for sharing her with me today.

The poppies sure tugged at my heart. I would so love to have some of the seeds if you have any to spare. I have always loved poppies, but never tried to grow them. They look so elegant blowing in the breeze.

What a beautiful share today. I have been locked inside with my asthma for almost 2 months, hospitalized for 8 days, and I feel as though I have not missed a thing. You have taken me on a beautiful tour this morning. Thank you my sweet friend. Have a beautiful 4th of July, be safe. Country hugs, Sherry

Oh, lovely! I had a Zephirine Drouhin rose once, but we moved house. It's one of the most beautifully scented of the thornless roses, isn't it? But not very vigorous, if I remember rightly.

The pea pods are beautiful too. I just bought myself a very pretty little pendant made of gold wire and green pearl beads on Etsy. I do love peas!
