Charming Towels and Exciting News!

There is a lady in a neighboring town,
who lives in an amazing Victorian home.
She has been "cleaning out the attic"
preparing to sell this dream of a home.

In this modern world of garage sales
I am on her text list...

(click photos to enlarge)

I went to her sale this morning
and came home with a box of pretty finds,
and thought I would share these lovely linen towels...

The charm of
A basket full of roses...

A lovely spray of Lilacs...

An applique Morning Glory...

Ladies strolling through the garden..

Complete with their bonnets and a parasol...

A border of lazy flowers...

The simple beauty of
Roses made of french knots
in a graduation of colors...

I also have exciting news today!!

Do you remember my Summer Dining Post?

Amanda Formaro an Editor for Old Fashioned Living,
asked me if I would write a article
to elaborate on that post...

And today I am so excited to say
she published it on their site!

A total pinch me moment!!

Today I am joining...

Cindy at My Romantic Home

Claudia at Dipity Road

and
Olga at Olga's Home and Garden Blog

Thanks for visiting me today!

Bella...Bella...Bella....You are making the Big Time! Congratulations on being published and I will go check it out as soon as I am done here. I love all your little tea towels that you found. My favorite is the one with the lilacs (of course it is). When you get tired of that (I know you will-please say you will) just send it to me...lol Okay..You can keep it but I have serious lilac envy! Thanks for the pictures and I am off to check out your published post. Have a wonderful night- Diana

Dearest Bella,

Guess that your parents had the foresight when giving you this name that you one day would turn out to really make a name for yourself! You did it and I'm thrilled for you. Well deserved!!!
Those treasures from today are lovely; my favorite are the French knot embroidered pieces. I could sit with them and caress... just dream about all the events they were part of. Made with so much LOVE. That is special and I'm glad they found you!
