Pink and Farm Chic...

As I was out this morning
hitting a couple garage sales :-)

IT was in the air...

(click photos to enlarge)

The feel that things were changing,
a hint of the autumn to come...

It influenced my purchases,
It feels like a time to gather,
a time to fill the nest with warmth...

a time for baking...

This large pink batter bowl
just begs to be filled with pancake batter...

This perfectly chipped Pink rolling pin
will be a fabulous addition to my little collection...

I dug through my closet for an old favorite quilt,
for the pending chilly evenings...

This well loved and well worn quilt,
is on the ready to do the job....

The potato vines feel the change,
and they are beginning to form berries...

The sun,
seems to be glowing more golden today...

Stop by Beverly's for more Pink Saturday fun :-)

Thanks for visiting me today!

Happy Pink Saturday Bella Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. Oh I love your purchases and your photos are just exquisite.

I too would have snatched up that batter bowl. I love the color too. I have never seen one like this. Great condition.

Love the rolling pin. A gal can never have to many of those for our collections can we? It even has pink handles. How cute is that?

I can't believe you are already thinking about blankets. Here in the desert we are still experiencing triple digits, and a blanket is the last thing on this gals mind. I envy you though. I have lots of quilts, that I really don't get to use much out here.

Thank you for the beautiful share sweetie. I love it. Have a gorgeous weekend. Much love, Sherry

Dearest Bella,

Indeed, we too have still triple digits but that soon can change for the evenings and nights... hopefully! What a lovely collection you found again! Great images and you tell a perfect story to go with it, weaving in your feelings of the season... That's what makes your blog stand out! The sun, shining indeed more golden, from a farther distance it seems - but makes the rose a jewel!

Sunny greetings from Georgia,

Hi Bella- You did good girl!!!! I love the pink batter bowl. I would have arm-wrestled you for that-right there in front of everybody! And how sweet is that pink handled rolling pin? I would have surrendered that more easily because I realized that I don't need any. more. rolling. pins!

I wish I could say that we are feeling Autumn coming but so far it is hot and humid and rainy. We are usually super dry in August...not this year...this year I have been thinking of building an ark..but I'm pretty sure the neighbors would think I was hearing voices in my head (unlike Noah).

Anyway...thank you for the beautiful post. Love coming here to see what you are up to. xxoo Diana

Hello Bella
Your pink batter bowl looks interesting with a handle on the one side.
It has turned cool here and I was thinking the same thing, it feels like the beginnning of autumn. A few trees are changing colour but that's way too early.
I guess you'll be hitting the sales again tomorrow - have fun!

Oh how pretty! Both the beautiful batter bowl and the darling rolling pin with the shabby pink handles are such a great find. I see some cinnamon raisin biscuits being stirred up and rolled out on a crisp fall Saturday morning. Ahhhh, the advent of autumn.

What a beautiful and cozy scene. Just like a greeting card! Love that quilt on the table. And the flower container is just perfect. Your flowers bring everything to perfection. Fun to look at. Jacqueline

You always find so many beautiful things there and most of the time so good prices!
I love the way you have described that certain feeling for autumn, I feel that too. Isn't it so inviting?

We have had an extremely cool summer in southern California so fall is not in our thinking yet. I believe we are just beginning to get some warm weather next week. I love pink! You found some great treasures. I hope you are using that bowl for your pancake batter this weekend. Thank you for sharing your pink finds. Enjoy them!

Hi Bella :) I love that pink batter bowl; pancakes sounds very good! But I do not want to think of fall 'cuz that means every single leaf that is on our trees right now will be ALL over our yard :(

Have a great weekend! Oh yes, the seeds arrived today, thank you so much!!!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda
