It's time for tea...
Today my tea inspiration
comes straight from a book...
A silver tray,
some lovely bits of lace...
I love the smell of lemons
(and they sure look pretty floating in the cup :-)

pinches of alyssum and a sprig of mint
add to the delightful fragrance...
The inspiration...

Hello Bella
Your cup and saucer look so dainty and feminine with the added lace and flowers.
Any book from Victoria would be inspiring but you've chosen the perfect one for tea today.
Have a great week.
Judith
Just beautiful and I know it smells great too-enjoy!
Bella, you always have such pretty settings and I could smell the lemon and mint.
I got my seeds today- what a pretty way to send them! I can't wait till spring to see them growing!
Thank you so much!
Hugs- Tete
Hi Bella! Well of course I love the white tea setting today! Such nice details in your arrangement. Looks like it could be a beautiful bridal shower tea! Lovely. JQ
Bella-It's beautiful, as usual. Your setting is absolutely achingly pretty and you have a wonderful eye for creating an atmosphere. Now I must tell you~ Although I love the IDEA of tea and I love the ROMANCE of tea sadly, I am a coffee drinker..Strong and black..unless it is my sugar free vanilla latte from Starbucks (no other will do).
So, I will live my dream of sipping tea vicariously through here...I can smell the lemon now- Diana
Dearest Bella,
Wow, you love laces and flowers and beautiful porcelain as much as I do and you even have my book...! Feels great to visit your blog; one of the best blogs as far as high content with authentic photos made at your home with your own items. That is a big PLUS!

Your tea today was exquisite!! Tea with lemon as beautiful as that!! Imagine!! The inspiration book was perfect...thank you for adding a lovely post to share with all.
Have a great Tuesday....can't wait to see what you have in mind! :0)
Once again, thanks for the seeds....
Dearest Bella,
Just go to my blog of today, August 23, to see the link to your better looking Hibiscus Syriacus 'Rose of Sharon'... I did post three of our varieties today. But I feel too embarrassed for showing our feeble ones. They're hanging in for their life! Pieter did take several cuttings so we might start off better next time. It is the extreme heat here!
