Tea for Pansys...

It is time again for tea :-)

(click photos to enlarge)

I was going to save my Pansy Tea cup
for a spring tea,,,

But it is so hot today....

Much too hot for pansies,
so I have rescued them and me from the heat
and we have taken refuge in the parlor...

on my favorite little table by the window...

I love a pretty bottom mark...

I used my little white tea pot,
It is becoming a reliable favorite :-)

I will be making green tea....

Cold grapes are refreshing...

I have tucked sprigs of mint about,
the fresh scent just feels cool...

Since I am house bound..
a little photo play was a fun diversion :-)

Looks like Autumn is on my mind!

It is time for tea all over blogland!
Come join the parties...

Beautiful post about pansies and teacups!
I love your lovely cup and saucer. Such pretty flowers and colors. I know what you mean about heat. Here it has been in the high 90's for ages. So glad you rescued your pretty flowers!
Hugs,
Terri

Dearest Bella,

Lovely corner for an intimate tea at the little table! The pansies are unreal; so big and smiling faces they show. Pretty pair with the mint and that scent is soothing! Do you know that by pouring boiling water over freshly plucked mint, you make a delicious mint tea? I learned that from Turkish friends... Very special tea; specialty!

Enjoy your pretty linens and china and dream away between each sip.

Sunny greetings from Georgia/USA

Hi Bella :) What a simply sweet teacup, and I love your sweet little white teapot; I can see how it would be a favorite :) Today was the first day we didn't have to have the Central Air on!!! It was so nice to open up the doors and windows and let the fresh (and much cooler) air into the house! I did spend quite a bit of time outdoors digging up Peonies and transplanting them here at our house. I'm looking forward to next spring and hopefully will have lots of pretty blooms :)

Happy Tea Tuesday!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Hallo Bella
Wir haben Dauerregen hier und es ist kalt. Es scheint, dass der Herbst schon Einzug hält, also Zeit für einen gemütlichen Tee. Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Tag.

So pretty! I can't believe you still have pansies in August! We'll be planting them again in a month or so, then they'll fade and come back on their own in very early spring-enjoy!

Good morning Miss Bella,
I just love your sweet bouquet of pansies. I still have tons of them in my garden. I love pansies and I think they are similar to daisies with their cute flower faces; very friendly little flowers! Your teacup is pretty as well. I love your little white teapot! What a cutie it is! Who wouldn't want to take tea from that friendly yet regal little pot? Your tea post is simply lovely and I thank you for sharing it with us. Thank you also for joining me for tea today. Have a beautiful day, my friend.

Blessings,
Sandi

What a lovely teacup - such pretty pansies and elegant shape. I really like your white teapot too. It has so much nice texture, that it doesn't need any other embellishment.

Hi Bella
I'm so late for tea today maybe I should just invite myself for breakfast? :-)
The pansies are so sweet in shades of lavender. I like the lid on your white teapot too, so different from what they usually are.
Stay cool my friend.

I just love pansies. They have such sweet little faces. Your teacup is quite elegant and the hues are beautiful. Some summer days are so warm that we must stay indoors and not let ourselves wilt...or the pansies! Very pretty.
