Tiny Inspiration...

When building a vignette..

Inspiration can come from small places...

Like this tiny cloche,
meant to house a cupcake...

But place an orphaned salt shaker in it
and it rises to new heights...

Physically and ascetically...

What is it about being under glass
that makes everything fancier?

Propped up on a bundle of well worn vintage books
adds oodles of charm...

You can never go wrong
with a backdrop of hand painted roses...

This platter is
a new find at a local Thrift shop :-)

Today I am joining...

Thanks for visiting me today!

What a gorgeous lovely rose platter! Your little shaker vignette is very pretty and sweet. I've had cloches on my mind since the party too, and picked up a smallish bell shaped one at Pottery Barn yesterday. Ciao Bella!

Dearest Bella,

That was indeed a very pretty salt shaker you showed! Did you know that you can put cocoa inside such an orphan shaker? Use it to dust off your hot chocolate or cappuccino with cocoa (the Dutch processed variety) and voilá!

Sunny (still) greetings from Georgia,

That is so gorgeous! I love all the details on that little shaker and it does look so fantastic behind glass! I have a tiny little glass cloche very similar too! I put a teeny little ceramic bird in it for one party and also a starfish for the decorating inspiration link party I am having this weekend -feathered nest friday- I would love if you would consider joining up! :)
