With the almost freezing temperatures at night
the garden is wrapping up...
Even with the fading colors
and their tattered edges
the flowers still shine in amazing beauty...
(click photos to enlarge)
The Asters grew so tall
they tumbled over,
their already fringed edges
fraying and curling...
The Hydrangea flowers have dried in place,
holding onto the most muted shades of pink...
The Queen Elizabeth Rose's
reign has sadly ended...
Her petals falling....
Floating elegantly in the little bird bath...
For one last moment of raw beauty...
Before, she rests and prepares for another stunning year...
and I am joining...Today's Flowers
Thanks for visiting me today!

Beautiful photos, as always. I love your little birdbath...and that rose is lovely. What will you do without your garden this winter? I always think of you as being IN the garden. Hugs, Diana
Oh Bella, such a beautiful way to bring in the fall weather. I loved it, Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Nothing is forever, that is why we must enjoy every day and live to the fullest. Even pretty flowers fall in there with us.
It would be sad if it weren't for the fact that all will bloom again next year!

Dearest Bella,
Indeed, the last petals are softly falling and the resting season will start before they grace the garden again with their blossoms.

Beautiful subtle pastels - so lovely to see at this sometimes tired time of year.
What beautiful fading beauties!
The last flowers are often more poignant than the thrill of the first. They remind us of the fading year and of our own mortality.
Oh so lovely!
Pumpkin and Mums at my page.
I love your pinks. I'm really behind on my Pink Saturday but glad I stopped by or I would have missed them. Happy Pink Saturday.
Such pretty pink flowers. It's easy to see how you love working in your garden. Thanks for sharing your lovely flowers with us.
It is sad to see the beautiful blooms coming to the end of their season, but they leave the sweet promise of things to come.
