The Foyer Tree...

I finished my tree in the foyer today...

The photos are a bit dark
because it was dark before I finished :-))
I'll try to sneak a few brighter photos in
during the next few weeks...

(click photos to enlarge)

It's probably no surprise
that my main tree
(yes there are several small trees to come!)
is garden themed....

Mike and I have been collecting birds for the tree since
our first Christmas together....

and where there are birds
there should be nests...

I have always had flowers on my trees
( I am sure no one is shocked there!)

A lone white dove graces the top...

Last night I shared with you
how I flocked the tree...

If missed it and would like to see that post

Decorating was rough on the flock
which dried as a delicate powder.
So I touched up the tips after I decorated.

I like the look of the over spray on the decorations...

The twinkle of "glass" ice cycles and snowflakes
delights me ...

Hi Bella
You are so creatively talented, I love this tree with the birds and flowers. It has a Victorian look of beauty and elegance making me wish we still had a full size tree.

Hi Bella,
What a beautiful tree! Stunning! I read the post about how you flocked and glittered it; it turned out soooo pretty! My mom used the flocking one year on her tree when I was in high school; it was a real tree and it looked very pretty. I love yours with the added glitter! I can't wait to see your other trees. I still have to get my Victorian tree put up in the parlour!

Sweet things.....don't we enjoy these treasures in our home...and so nice that we can share them with all our "best" friends in blogland.

I am having a hard time "getting with it" regarding decorating for Christmas....just can't seem to get the "jump start" I need.
It will kick in one of these days.
