My Other Stick Trees...

I have shown you my Parlor tree
and my Silver Tabletop tree...

(click photos to enlarge)

As promised
I am sharing with you
my last two decorated trees...

This tree sits on top of the Armoir
 in the family room...

The ornaments on it
 began on the parlor tree
at first I used birds, flowers, nuts and pine cones..

Then I changed to just birds and flowers...

So I stared a nut tree :-)
and moved the richer toned balls to it..

This vintage red cotton bird
is right at home among the jewel tones...

Of course
where there are nuts...
there must be a squirrel :-))

So by now...
you must be thinking Mike is incredibly patient
to do so much ornament shopping!

But truthfully
My man loves fish!

So.. I got him started on a fish tree
many years ago....

Fish in trees is kinda weird...

But,  they look so whimsical
swimming and jumping in the pine branches...

I love this little seahorse...

and some fish have pretty glittered spots :-)

Yes he loves fish... all fish..

The sea shells under his tree
he has collected scuba diving in the Puget Sound...

Tonight I am joining these parties!

Hi Bella
I am really smiling reading this post - I've never seen a nut tree or a fish tree before. Come to think of it, I've never seen fishy decorations here but it's sweet that Mike has his own tree including shells with good memories.

Your tree is wonderful! I just decorated my first stick tree tonight with some vintage ornaments. I bought it last year and almost forgot I had it. It's not as big as yours.

I love the fish tree, too. My husband could really get into one of these!

Happy Holidays, Bella!

XO,
Jane

P.S. I think I have an addiction to ornaments, too!

What a unique conversation piece that fish tree is! You need the close-ups to realize what's on it! Cool! Looks like you've had fun collecting for both trees. I've been looking for you! JQ

LOL- Well, just when I thought I had seen everything...I see a FISH tree...and it is pretty ..in a *ahem* manly sort of way. MrBella would not like me calling his tree pretty I don't think. It goes just swimmingly with your other decorations. (oh..stop..I can't help myself)..and I think it's a little fishy that YOU started him on the tree because it allowed YOU to have a NUT tree now!

Bella- You are just the cutest thing in WA! (hoping I'm not offending anyone else that lives there). Hugs- Diana

Hi Bella
I've never even thought of putting fish in the tree but actually some how it really works I love your Nemo clown fish. You are right about loving fish there is something very soothing about watching fish swim around a tank. Fantastic idea.
Have a fabulous Christmas

Those are lovely trees to showcase vintage ornamnents.
The seahorse is quite unique...if we spent time on our boat at Christmas it would br fun to have a sea theme.

Happy Holidays!
