Silver Tinsel Tree...

On Tuesday
I shared tea with you under my tinsel tree...

(click photos to enlarge)

and...
Promised to share it with you
when I finished decorating...

If you missed my first post about
my little tinsel tree
you can view it HERE...

I love the old fashioned look of stick style trees....

They are great for showcasing ornaments...

My ornaments are a mix of old and new,
mostly found at garage sales...

All the ornaments started out
 on the big foyer tree...
(you can see that here if you missed it)

As my collection outgrew the tree,
I grouped them up into themes
and added smaller trees around the house..

I have two more trees,  I'll show you soon!

I love the look of old glass ornaments
with their scuffs and scars....

I can't get enough glitter at Christmas!

I am joining these lovely parties..

Feathered Nest Friday at French Country Cottage
Show and Tell Friday at My Romantic Home
Color Outside the Lines for Vignette Friday
and
Silver Sunday at Gypsy Fish Joural

Come join the fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Bella,

I love your tinsel tree. It certainly does evoke a vintage feel. I think that first photo of the snowflake ornament is so pretty too. You have made me wish for an identical tree. It reminds me a little of the tree my Grandma had in her home when I was a little girl.
Now I'm going to check out the first post on the tree.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Nancy

I love your vintage tree. It really does evoke a very victorian feel. Have you always had that fabulous stand? It really is quite wondeful. Yes, a cup of tea and some cookies are absolutely called for while decorating this very sweet tree.
I have been working long hours and missing some posts. I was just catching up and I so enjoyed seeing your main tree. Gorgeous. I think you are very brave to attempt the flocking yourself. Wonderful!!!

Hi Bella,

I see I missed your post about the decorating of your tree. It looks really good! So different from other trees.

Our Christmas tree is still standing in the hallway, waiting to get a final place in the living room. Hopefully my husband has some time today to put it there today, so that I can start decorating!!

Enjoy your tree & weekend :-)!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Hi Bella
Your tree looks so pretty now that it's dressed and the decorations are much easier to see than on a fuller tree.
Looking forward to seeing yet another two trees decorated.
You should think about becoming a home designer - we have ladies here that will come and decorate your tree, stairway and anywhere else you desire. Some work out of the garden stores while others are independent.

Hello bella,
it is a cute little tree. Looks like a very young tree. Reminds me on a little girl in a cute skirt which turns gracefully pirouettes. You are right, it is great to show the ornaments very clear. Looks so neatly displayed.
Thank you for showing this inspirating tree.
Greetings, Johanna
