I've been enjoying a beautiful day of rainbow weather...
sun then drizzle,
repeat...
(click photos to enlarge)
my front porch Camilla bush is just starting to bloom...
the blooms start a so soft blush
and fade quickly to almost white...
With their short stems
I think the best way to display it's flowers
is to float them...
besides isn't it so serene?
perfect for the centerpiece of a lingering meal...
and a great excuse to use my shallow Limoges bowl...
I am joining
and
Thanks for visiting me today...

so feminine and soft and delicate. thanks for sharing.
Oh my Bella,
I'm at loss for words. Both the flower and the bowl are breathtaking beautiful. I know you have snow as you have mentioned that in past post, and photo's show, so I'm thinking!! Camillas can be grown in my Zone 5? New England? If so I have yet to see any in our area! If not..I need to move.
Sincerely,
Shirley
This is so dainty and beautiful! I've put roses in a bowl of water when the stems are too short! It's such a wonderful way to enjoy fresh flowers! ♥
Bella, those flowers are so perfect. I love the delicate colour - a work of art.
Cheers,
Lisa x

You can just tell Limoges a mile off. What a beautiful bowl, and the perfect way to show your camellias! I'm sure you're enjoying your garden starting up between showers!

Bella, what beautiful camillas. I love the delicate soft color. All our camilla bushes have bloomed already. ~ Sarah
B-U-T-Full hope that translated as "beautiful". I love flowers floating in vintage bowls. I just purchased a very old bowl on my last trip home, it is now outside filled with birdseed but I'm re-thinking now, the floating flowers look divine. xoxo tami
Bella ~ those blooms are just beautiful in that vintage bowl. Love it ;-)
Your camellias are gorgeous. I love the way you have them displayed. I have never seen camellias that color before!

How beautiful. I can't believe you have roses so quickly after all the snow? you must be magic in the garden. My daffodils and blue bells are just beginning to pop up from the ground! As always love to visit

Hi Bella
Fresh floating flowers do make a romantic centrepiece for a cozy dinner.
We're getting quite a bit of snow today, just after I saw a couple of crocuses blooming yesterday.
Hugs,
Judith
Oh how pretty! Unfortunately, we are buried under snow, AGAIN! No pretty blooms for us, ugh!

Your flowers are soooo gorgeous. How fun - we are still having snow - last couple of days (to welcome in spring) and it is expected today. The limoges bowl is perfect. I feel transported to another place and time.
