I hope everyone had a fun weekend?
I had a busy weekend...
I bought new appliances for my kitchen
and had a gas line put in for the range.
I have always had an electric stove
so I am excited to take that baby for a spin:-)
delivery is Wednesday!!
I bought a few new roses to replace some that were lost
to record low temperatures over the winter.
We got down to 9 degrees eeek!
I'll tell you more about those tomorrow..
and I found a bit of time
to do some spring clean up in the garden...
(click photos enlarge)
playing in the garden is always good for my soul...
I have this little wall statue
that I picked up at a garage sale last year...
it has yet to find a permanent home in the garden,
I am always moving it here and there...
strangely I don't think I have shown it to you before...
It's little bowl is too shallow to hold much...
but perfect to hold a few tiny Violets
and a bit of Thyme...
Today I am linking to...
and
Thanks for stopping by today!

new appliances, how exciting!!
Hi Bella,
I had a nice weekend! The weather is getting better here and I plan some playing in the garden too.
Some time ago, I read somewhere a Japanese proverb that says: If you want to be happy for a day, get drunk. If you want to be happy for a month, get married. But if you want to be happy for a lifetime, become a gardener!
Gardening does bring lots of joy. Wouldn't you agree?
Have a wonderful week!
Bella,
What a great find! Love the flowers you planted in it!

What a cute little wall piece...lovely little angels! Isn't it funny how you can have something you just love and can't seem to find the right spot for it?
I can't believe how cold your weather is...unbelievable! xxoo Diana
You have the loveliest garden ornaments! That statue is exceptional. I just got a new stove last month! Yay! Glad you're having time for your garden. xx

Hi Bella
The violets and thyme are indeed petite pretties for the angels to hold.
I'm glad to hear you've made the new appliance stage and hope you're going to do show us the kitchen makeover.
Hugs,
Judith
Bella,
Wonderful weekend here! What a sweet wall plaque, love it! Congratulations on your gas stove. Hopefully soon we'll get to see what you've been up to in the kitchen!
Blessings,

I had the best week end Bella, thanks for asking. I had my Grand son round and the weather was wonderful so we were out all day Fri & Sat I am totally worn out ;0) but it was worth it.
I am a huge fan of the garden and your much more so ;0) sad to hear you lost some roses, I know how you love them all. And it takes a while for a bush/tree to establish doesn't it. But I am sure you will enjoy the process.
I love your little garage sale angels and thyme and violets look wonderful together. Have a beautiful day.
Love Dawn xx
