Happy Earth Day...

I hope everyone found a moment
to enjoy the beauty of nature,
today for Earth Day?

I was lucky to enjoy a sunshiny day
 getting my hands dirty :-)

(click photos to enlarge)

the Mount Fuji Cherry has burst open,
we had a big hailstorm and I thought I might lose the blooms
but they seem no worse for the wear...

the Davidii Viburnum
right on the edge of bursting open...

Windflowers soaking up the sun...

a little footpath in the very back of the garden
lined with English Daisies...

a broader view of the footpath...

King Edward Currant in the foreground
Bridal Spirea and Money Plants in the far back...

King Edward Currant Flowers...

The blooms on the Service Berry,
overlooking the Koi pond,
you can just make out the ghostly Koi in the background...

today was their first feeding day of the year,
Cheerios was the food of choice :-)

my fish loving, eager husband,
fed them before I could grab my camera...

a volunteer Money Plant behind the back gate...

Tulips and Violets up front...

Happy Earth Day!

I am joining...

Thanks for strolling with me today...

Hello Bella, I'm Holly! I saw you over at Roselle's and decided to come meet you. When I arrived, I found out you're a Washington blogger! I'm originally from Enumclaw but I lived in south Prairie, too. I live in Idaho now but WA will always be home to me...

Washington was my *favorite* place to garden! Yes, there were slugs and raindrops to contend with but not many bugs compared to the rest of the country and no worries about heat stroke! I'll enjoy strolling through your pics and hopefully, I won't get too home sick! ♥

I am so envious - your garden is beautiful and so full of life already. We're just barely peeking out of the snow now and only a few crocus and hyacinths have made their appearance. Thank you so much for sharing your Spring with us. Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Easter to you....

I am soooo proud of you and your photography, Bella! Prouder than the fact you grow sweet peas! You'd better be submitting to garden mags, they need you.
