I think I spent the majority of my childhood
running in the sprinklers...
and although,
I really don't like to drag the hoses around the garden,
the mesmerizing sound of the sprinklers,
is the sound of summer...
and seeing the garden lush and dripping wet,
always delights me...
so grab an umbrella :-)
lets stroll....
(click photos to enlarge)
Edens heavy heads nodding...
a delicate white Delphinium...
soft pink Toadflax swaying....
a Hydrangea, fully hydrated...
a Foxglove, well... foxy :-)
tomorrows blooms...
there are still a few Columbine heads,
among the seed pods...
Zephirine Drouhin enjoyed a deep sip...
and still has a little dripping from her chin....
the Hardy Fuchsia danced in the droplets,
like leggy ballerinas on pointe...
(the Queen of Sweden Rose)
three queens sitting in a row...
from above too...
another new David Austin Rose...
say hello to Harlow...
I am in lust with her
millions of delicate petals...
there was singing :-)
newly blooming Clematis...
Toadflax is a generous self seeder,
and hard to control...
but well worth the effort!
Gertrude Jekyll,
was the first to bloom...
and she hasn't slowed down yet...
Today I am joining...
and
Thanks for strolling with me today:-)

What lovely lovely rose is Ms. Queen of Sweden! ;) Now I want one, but I'm also in love with Eden rose, and always been! I have 55 rose bushes in my small urban garden and don't have any more space, if I could I would plant roses in my roof! ;) thanks for participating in Show Off Your Cottage Monday and bringing me here
Be blessed
