Christmas Cookies and Tea...

I love baking for Christmas...

After the house is all decked out,
I love to spend a couple quiet evenings baking...

Christmas music softly playing,
the smell of hot cookies...

so relaxing...

for the last days before the big day,
I like to set my sideboard up as sweet central...

it's easy entertaining for stop by guests,
and right at hand to accompany a cup of hot tea
or just nibbling....

the upper ledge of my sideboard
never seems to change too much...

I enjoy the mix and match candles,
with seasonal this and that's tucked in....

like these dainty wings
I am obsessed with...
(I found them at Pier one,  for under two dollars a pair)

and the sweets....

Cranberry Noels...

always sugar cookies...
another obsession...

Pecan Sandies...

a plucky bird,
thinking about swiping a cookie....

 I hope you'll grab a cup...

and something sweet...

and relax a minute with me...
:-)

Tonight I am joining...

and these lovely Tea Parties
and

Thanks for joining me today...

I hope to start baking tomorrow so you have given me inspiration. Although I don't think my sugar cookies can ever compete with the beauties you made.

Dearest Bella,

Merry, Merry Christmas dear lady.., and a happy New Year to you as well!

I love your delightful Christmas post with your adorable little dainty angel wings and yummy baking.~ Oh my, those cookies!.., I especially enjoy the sparkly sanding sugar and pastel, candy colored, sugar 'pearlescent', Dragees.., A weakness of mine!

I also adore your visually pristine, 'softer than snow', white teacups and tea vignette.., Simply breathtaking!

Yum! Simply charming; what a lovely idea.., A sweets side board and station. I keep mine under glass domes and cloches these days at the ready.

Thanks ever so much for also inspiring us richly and sharing with us all of your marvelous tea posts at our weekly, Tuesday tea's Bella.

Thanks for so faithfully brightening our corner of blogland, as you have joined us for, 'T and TTT', and also for, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', on many a lovely occasion.

Perfect in every detail. White is so peaceful at this time of year, like the snow. I have a passion for wings also. I will check out Pier 1 tomorrow.
I so enjoyed your presence at our tea, especially during this busy season.
Wishing you a blessed Christmas!

Hi Bella *hugs*
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. Mine was lovely.

Your pictures are so pretty and so feminine and just so delish looking. You know you have created a problem...I didn't have a chance to bake much before Christmas...and now that I've seen your Pecan Sandies and your Cranberry Noels...I am TOO tempted to make some now...I really shouldn't but....

have a wonderful day..
lovely tablescapes and candles too.

Hi Bella (Big Smiles),

I am rather late stopping by but I love seeing Christmas at any time of year, especially a setting this beautiful! I would love to share your angel and noel cookies! I am excited to try my hand at them and I have all year to practice! Lol Might we have the recipes one day? And, where do you find the multi-coloured dragees? Do you have an on-line source? They are so pretty. Gorgeous, gorgeous post.

Hugs,
