Lighting Up the Long Dark Nights...

the longest night of the year is almost here....

and I have been looking for fun ways
to add a little glow to my evenings....

my old metal birdcage was displaced
 for my Christmas display,
and looking kinda boring,
so I decided to add some tea lights...

It makes a pretty lamp :-)

I hope you are enjoying these long nights,
with a little glow of your own :-)

tonight I am joining the fun at...

Love the candles in your cage! It gives a dreamy light. I'm so excited about the longest night because things start going the other way again! We woke up to a dark morning with frost on everything. Headed to warmer weather!

Hope you don't mind if I use your idea and bring out my bird cage and put some candles in it. This would add a nice ambience to the porch.
