Flowers on the Doorstep...

The planter on my doorstep
is always the first to get planted...

it's the easiest to enjoy
and the easiest to care for when skies
aren't very springy :-)

like today...
we have had wind, rain,  sun, and rainbows
repeat, repeat and repeat...
snow has even snown up on the weekend forecast...

yes it looks like spring has arrived!

another benefit of my close-by planter,
it's easy to sneak out and throw a sheet
over the plants on a cold night...

and whats not to enjoy?

oh,  happy pansies!

Hyacinth are the smell of spring to me,
what is your favorite?

these little tete a tete daffodil bulbs
were never lifted last year
and are coming up randomly...

I love random...

special delivery...

don't you wish the postman brought flowers!

today I am joining...

Thanks for stopping by
my doorstep today...

Well, even if there is snow, your porch certainly looks like Spring has sprung!! I really love your planter and would love to find something similar to use outside my own door!

We'll be awhile here in Ontario before we can put flowers outside. I always start with pansies at the front door. So sweet and so inviting. Loved your flowers today.

Is that really your regular mailbox? The mail carrier only comes to the curb around here. Yours is darling with or without tulips! Wonderful that you have blooms close by!

Ah, the delights of spring! Even if only in a planter box. ;)

Your flowers are lovely, Bella. And the combination of daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips epitomize spring.

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday again this week. It's always a pleasure to have you join the fun.

Blessings,
Liz @ The Brambleberry Cottage

Thanks so much for showing those beautiful flowers! I am so excited for spring, as it sounds like many bloggers are. I love your wicker chairs--I have the same one but mine is not in near as good of condition as yours. I still love it though:)

I love the metal tub planter. It even has a little chippy paint on it. We have to wait a bit longer. I'm learning patience.

You have a delightful blog and I also love Washington, sweetpea. We visit our granddaughter over there a couple times a year and just looooove going to Paneras since we have none in our state.

Hi Bella,
Your planter is absolutely lovely. I've seen these tiny daffodils around my neighborhood and was wondering if they have a special name. Now I know! They are really cute.

What a beautiful planter! Your arrangement is lovely. I think violets are my favorite "spring is finally here" flower. I can already see their little green leaves pushing through the soil, and some of my myrtle is already blooming.
