Last year
I shared some pictures
of the local Daffodil Farms
gathering the crops...
this year
we had a big surprise..
after only a couple weeks of harvesting
the tight buds...
they let the fields bloom...
so last week
I grabbed a few pics to share..
rows of sunshine...
Sunshine on a cloudy day...
now Motown is playing in my head...
I got sunshine
On a cloudy day
when it's cold outside
i got the month of May
i guess you say
what can make me feel this way
my girl
my girl
my girl
talkin about my girl
On a cloudy day
when it's cold outside
i got the month of May
i guess you say
what can make me feel this way
my girl
my girl
my girl
talkin about my girl
:-)
Today I am joining...
Soak in the sun...

Just gorgeous, Bella! We have many daffodil farms in Michigan and the sight always takes my breath away!
XO,
Jane
Beautiful fields of gold...but, Bella, come on, you're not old enough to know that song!! Happy Sunday..Judy
Beautiful fields! How could you not smile when you look at this?! Love it!

Those are beautiful, Bella. I wonder why they let them bloom this year without harvesting them? xo Diana
Our daffodils are all going away now--those are beautiful! I love visiting fields like that.
Daffodils are lovely, mine are out at the moment though not in those quantities:) Love that old Temptations song, it was always one of my favourites.
What a beautiful sight to behold~ a whole FIELD of Daffies! Now I have that song in my head too :) Happy Earth Day!
So very lucky for you that they are letting the blooms stay this year! I wonder if the plants will be healthier next year as a result? I always thought only the greens needed to stay to replenish the bulb. Now I am singing that song, and will be all day--but it is such a good one I won't mind. Linda
So pretty Bella. What a wonderful sight it must be. I think I would just want to sit down and take it all in for hours. Our church planted tons of daffodils along the center drive into the large parking lot and it was so beautiful on Easter to see them all abloom.

Hi Bella
Isn't a whole field of daffodils a marvellous sight! Thanks for sharing your photos.
I love that song, it will likely be in my head all day now.
Hugs,
Judith
Hi Bella,
beautiful post as always...!

So pretty, can't help but smile... Happy Sunday.

SPECTACULAR!! Nothing like this around here. It would be a lovely surprise anywhere!
You're so lucky to live near such a beautiful place, Bella. Those golden faces are so pretty. They are indeed "rows of sunshine". Your lovely photographs reminded me of this poem. (http://classiclit.about.com/library/bl-etexts/wwordsworth/bl-wword-daf.htm) Have a happy day!
How beautiful!
