It's SPRING!

Yes,  It's spring...

I know it officially started
a couple weeks ago...

but,  it hasn't been feeling too springy here,
until this weekend...

it was beautiful,
it was glorious...

the garden is a buzz...
blooms are popping open everywhere...

would you like to take a stroll?

the big old Magnolia in the front garden,
was the first tree we planted when we moved in...

there are a pair of smaller Magnolia shrubs
in the back...

this one the softest lavender shade...

this one pure white...

the Rockcress spills over the rockery...

a watering can in the background
lives a life of leisure this time of year,
it's services
completely unnecessary...

each season bring it's own surprises...

the Daffodil in the back
has a single trumpet....

the flower in the front,
seems to be a triple decker!

the bed has several of each style...

the evening song in the garden
is thick with the croaking of frogs...

I spotted the first eggs cluster this morning...

a patch of Anemone
sways softly in the breeze...

a lazy rabbit keeps watch
from a patch of faded Crocus...

these mystery flowers
come from a plant sale
several years ago....

can you name my mystery flower?

sweet Camellia...

potted Hyacinth
are a inside favorite in early spring...

for years,
I have been replanting them outside,
forming a boarder...

perfect for cutting :-)

Today I am joining...
and
Thanks for strolling with me today...
Happy Spring!

Such wonderful photos Bella... your magnolias are spectacular and I am pleased that you've been able to appreciate their beauty this year... all of mine have at least some frost damage and some got severe burning of the blooms before they ever totally opened. It's wonderful to see yours... Larry

Such a lovely walk through your garden, Bella! It's delightful to see how Spring is waking up around your home. You're a bit ahead of us over here in New England, but each day I see another little face peeking out from rocks and crevices and garden beds. Sandy is correct... your mystery flower is Candytuft!
