I have made it out and about
to a few garage sales lately...
I seem to randomly, unexpectedly
come upon a theme...
an impromptu collection...
I must be craving sparkle,
and sweetness...
because,
I have been picking up crystal candy dishes...
filling them with
eye candy...
garden fresh,
with lets call it dew...
(because I really am tired of calling it rain)
Eden...
Harlow Carr...
delicate and soooo sweet....
Winchester Cathedral...
deliciously white,
with a tiny tinge of pink at the edge...
the Queen of Sweden...
regal,
amazing...
my nose is doing
a happy dance....

I sure wish they had a smell button on computers,,those are beautiful roses..I am just getting back into growing them,,we are renting so they are all in containers,,I am dying to buy a David Austen rose..they are so beautiful..thanks for sharing..

Just look at these beautiful armloads! A pile of roses must make the most wonderful scent! That's the payoff for all that rainfall. We got a little spit (not even a drizzle) of rain today. But it was dark all afternoon! Weird!

Happy dance, indeed! Your home and garden must have been so sweet-smelling while all the roses were blooming. I'm guessing many of these are the lovely gift you received last year from your husband? They're all just so beautiful. (And nothing shows off a rose so well as a crystal vase or bowl!)
