Stormy Early June in the Garden...

It's already June,
where is the time going?

How about a stroll through the garden?

I would love for you to join me,
but do be prepared...

you may need,
sunglasses,
wellies,
a sweater
an umbrella...

it has been stormy,
and the weather is changing at every turn...

the early spring sun
and the recent rain,
have caused a flower explosion...

Columbine...

Jacob's Ladder...

Sweet Rocket...

It seems it's all blooming at once...
I admit I am overwhelmed!

the Allium
came and went so fast...

the Peonies have already
come into full bloom...

the first Bonica Roses,
are going to burst open
at any moment!

they are low on fragrance,
but high on the pitter patter scale...

Zephirine Drouhin,
looking the best she ever has...

now this lady smells good!

a basket full of Pansies...

she sits quietly,
contemplating...

Today I am joining...
and

Thanks for strolling with me today...

I loved this stroll through your garden Bella. All those flowers are so beautiful and lush.
We had rain yesterday too. It was so unusual for CA. But I enjoyed it very much. I opened all the windows, so I could here it and smell it. And my garden liked it too. Viktor was a bit upset today because there was no need for watering. He loves to water our garden.

Your gardens look lovely. Those Peonies are so pretty and different!
I hear you about the weather-my Mom and I walk 2 miles a day and when we left it was super sunny, part way thru we got rained on, and then it was sunny and hot when we got home. You can't plan for this kind of weather!

Beautiful blooms already in your gardens Bella. My peonies are just starting to open and the dayliles have flower spikes with buds.
Crazy weather here too; hot and dry then cold and wet.
Oh well, each day is a surprise.

Absolutely gorgeous photos - I really must get a couple of paeonies for my garden - I have singles but none of the beautiful doubles. No need for sunglasses here but the wellies and an umbrella would be a really good idea!

Your June garden is glorious, Bella! We had ample sun and rain here, too, in New England and it made the garden pretty spectacular for several weeks. Thank you for posting these beautiful images.
