Farewell to July...

It's already the end of July...
where has the time gone?

Are you ready for a stroll?

I wish I could say it's warm and sunny,
but summer has been illusive here still...

maybe the new month will bring more sunny skies,
and a little rain too,
if that's not asking too much :-)

the roses are making a strong come back...

this is Tiffany,
my Mr's favorite rose in all the garden...

Harlow Carr,
draped on a little wire fence....

lazy Eden lying across the fence top,
maybe her gorgeous head is just too heavy...

a cluster of Ballerinas...

the summer flowers have arrived...

Anemone...

the Lilies...

their heady fragrance fills the night air......

their season is so short,
I fill all my large vases with them...

papery Mallow blooms...

the Pee Gee Hydrangea
has begun to bloom....

the Coneflowers are dancing,
twirling....

Obedience Plant...

so named because the spiky blooms are
positionable...

little surprises...
a giant mottled rose...

the upfront border beds
are overflowing in color...

I thought I'd share my laundry tub planter
all filled in...

I love the
 Lobelia with the Dichondra pairing...

See you in August :-)

Today I am joining...
and

Thanks for strolling with me today...

GORGEOUS, Bella! What amazing shots! I love that 'Harlow Carr' rose! Almost looks like a peony, doesn't it - with all of it's ruffly sweetness? I can't believe where July has gone either. Summer is just flying... :(

A lovely farewell to July. Dreamy flowers and scented roses, what will your August garden bring?
We had a great send off ourselves; finally rain - lots of it and a booming finish of thunder.
Wishing you happy days of August Bella.

Judith

We have all the same flowers. What beautiful photos you took! That one flower you called a obedience plant I have always called a gooseneck. I am glad to know the correct name. :)

Love Love these photos! Your gardens are beautiful and it seems the cloud and cool air have been kind to them. I also love your old laundry tub on the porch and the glimpses of the neighbours homes in the backgrounds. ;) Happy August!

Your photos are always alluring and remind of English gardens. Rosie of leavesnbloom has the English garden-ish shots too, she's from Scotland!

OMG, Bella these are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen, they really should be in a magazine. Seeing your laundry tub makes me want to get mine out of storage... it's gorgeous with the flowers in it. I have to say I've never seen even a professional take pictures as gorgeous as yours, you are very talented with the camera. I wanted to let you know that I shared one of your previous rose pictures on my facebook page.

Gorgeous blooms... you have a beautiful garden! I was taken back when you said Summer was still illusive there. I couldn't imagine where you might be. Then I read your About Me and almost laughed out loud... we were near you in Auburn over July 4th with my daughter's family and it was c.o.l.d.! Hoping the sun shines soon for you or you just may miss Summer!
