Goodnite Garden...

The air is crisp,
and wet...

the garden is quiet...

are you ready for a final garden stroll of fall...

a blanket of leaves is quickly falling,
the trees nearly bare...

and the flowers are few...

still they are surprises...

like a handful of Cone Flowers,
shooting out of the already dead stocks...

It is time for Dahlias to shine...

the wet cold days have revived the Hardy Fuchsias,
they look like a breath of spring...

the Hummingbirds are delighted...

a Pumpkin nests
in the last Geranium blooms...

the Beauty Berry
shows she is best of season...

tiny last blooms of the Ballerina Rose,
take a final twirl...

and turn quickly to fruit...

other Roses
try to bloom with the best intentions,
but they are tired...

I gather the seasons final bouquet...

Some blooms perfect,
others tattered,
each treasured...

Goodnite Garden

today am joining...
and

Thanks for strolling with me today...

Just beautiful Bella! I especially love the pics of the dahlia and the dainty fuchsias, oh how I would love to see some Hummingbirds one day...I have a hummingbird windchime hanging in my kitchen that just catches the breeze. The colour of the Beauty Berry...simply stunning!

How lucky to still have a few blooms! I've had nothing for a month. That fuchsia is lovely, it's colors so soft.

So lovely! I love the beauty berries. Their colour is amazing. It's kind of sad seeing the garden die down for the winter. Ours has been done for while but the purple coneflower still had some blooms yesterday. Frost for tonight so that will be the end of that. :(

What gorgeous photos, Bella. Everything here is brown and dead and dry. We even had a spit of snow here this morning- xo Diana

Beautiful blooms! The Dahlia is gorgeous, and the last bouquet looks so romantic.
I hope you're enjoying these autumn days.

I really love the weathered beauty of your garden. The beauty berry is amazing. There's a distinct emotional quality to an imperfect bloom. It all makes for a gorgeous bouquet. Glad you shared. I'm feeling a little weather beaten myself! Haha! xx

You still have a lot of pretty things in your garden--love those berries. I really need to get out and do the winter clean up. So much more fun to plant!

Just dream about the gardens to see next year!

There's still beauty as the garden fades. I planted a beauty berry this spring Bella because I've always loved those purple berries you share in the fall. It might take a couple of years for the fruit, but worth waiting for.

Gorgeous flowers and pics! It's always sad to see the blooms go. I do have tea roses that are still blooming like crazy! It must be the sunshine mixed with the cool air that they like. Hmmmm...

Your garden is so lovely, Bella, even at this time of year! And you captured their fragile beauty so perfectly in your images. That pretty little brown-edged rose reminds me of the old saying "She stayed too long at the Fair..." :)

You have so many beautiful flowers still. We've had a couple of short, cold spells that have ruined just about everything. Thanks for the gorgeous photos.
