I unboxed my new Christmas tree today,
that is as far as I have gotten...
the holidays go by so fast,
sometimes it's nice to linger...
I am smitten with my new tree,
and could almost just enjoy it plain,
unadorned...
fresh and pristine as the first snow...
I have learned many of you are looking for a flocked tree!
I bought mine at McLendons Hardware
a small Northwest Washington hardware store chain.
but those pink balls,
are calling...
as if,
this wasn't all enough goodness
for one day...
the mailman delivered
the new David Austin catalog today....
(don't forget to order your free catalog)
what to do?
am I going to TRY
to take it slow...
today I am joining...
Home
and
Thanks for stopping by...

This is going to look absolutely georgous! I am doing a white-tipped tree this year too, but mine won't have all of that wonderful flocking.
I can't wait to see your tree all decorated, Bella. I ordered the David Austin catalog. I realized I have not received one since we moved here-xo Diana

Pretty tree! When I was a kid we had a huge tree (our living room had a vaulted ceiling). It was a live tree and we always flocked it white. Then my parents hung pink and turquoise ornaments. Your tree reminds me of it. Can't wait to see it when you're finished.
What a beautiful new tree Bella! And it will be even more so with your lovely vintage pink ornaments adorned upon it. I may have to get me a smaller version of this tree for next year :) I really love it!
~Brenda~
Such a pretty tree as is. On the other hand, the pink ornaments are like jewelry on the tree.

I LOVE your tree. I have a few white trees myself and LOVE them. I love pink but am a little afraid of it. LOL It looks beautiful!
I love your tree--I have never seen one so well flocked! I am not going to flock my tree this year--but your tree makes me want to :) I ordered the David Austin catalog--I haven't got one yet--I did order from them last year not sure if that makes them send you a catalog or not. Thanks for the link!
Your tree is beautiful! It IS nice to linger and not be rushed in the holiday season. Love your pink balls too. It reminds me of my Grandmother's tree. She had the same thing...white flocked tree with pink balls and even a pink dressed Santa.
Have a wonderful week!

I wish i could find a tree like that here in Australia! It's just gorgeous! I tried flocking my tree last year with fake snow but it kept falling off and making one big mess! Even though it's summer here at Christmas I would love to have a tree like that.. love the pink ornaments too. take care, Maryann
Your tree is very pretty, Bella. I think it will look fantastic decked out in pink!

What a beautiful tree! I'm sure it will be even lovelier once you've decorated it, but I agree it looks so pretty just the way it is. And oh! the arrival of the David Austin catalogue is always such a wonderful surprise, isn't it? Time for a playdate with yourself and a cup of tea. (Are we dreaming of Spring already....?)
Love, love, love a flocked tree!
Can't wait to see it all decked out with the pink balls.

Hi Bella,
Your tree is just gorgeous! It looks lovely reflected in your pretty mirror. I love a flocked tree and yours will be breath-taking adorned with those pink balls. Thank you for sharing with my HOME and enjoy your weekend.

What a gorgeous tree! It does look so pretty with nothing on it but then again, i am sure you will make it look even more so. I adore the pink glass ornaments.
Ah, David Austin roses. I could pour over that catalog over and over again. If only the deer didn't think my roses were there dinner.
I would love to know where you got that tree from too.
