A Swell Day...

The first day of May...

(Brandy Wine Crabapple)

A perfect day,
of bright blue skies...

I spent the day in the garden,
with my weed bucket...

happy as could be...

time to daydream,
time to watch the rose buds swell...

maybe a petal starting to peek out...

I hope your day was Swell too...

Wish you happy daydreaming with your weed bucket in the garden, your pictures show the perfect feeling of such a beautiful day. Your hedge behind the arch looks so perfectly straight.

Love these days too Bella... your garden is way ahead of mine... we had such a long harsh winter this time, things are just beginning... xoxo Julie Marie

The crabapples and ornamental fruit trees are blooming here, too, Bella. It really does lift one's spirits. Your garden is looking lovely. You're a little ahead of us here on the East Coast but we are slowly catching up! I long for the weekend when I can be outside with my own weed bucket. Wishing you a lovely spring day.

Hi Bella, I love your lush garden. It must be so nice to spend some time there. We have hot days already, but early morning and evenings are nice. Last evening I trimmed the bushes in my yard and pulled out some weeds too. It didn't feel like work at all.

Only true gardeners could spend the day pulling weeds and be filled with bliss! There is no more peaceful a place than a garden. A great way to welcome May!

So beautiful! I have been in my "garden" a little bitm but not enough! I was out today and will go out again in a bit when it cools down! So hot on the side of the State! 100 degrees here yesterday! I have been working on some fairy garden items, I am so excited about them!

Hi Bella,
It is looking 'swell' in your garden! You are ahead of ours for sure and it has turned cold here again.

Enjoy all that beauty!

The pink and blue photo is magnificent Bella. My garden is calling for me to get in and weed. I'm wishing I had some warm sunshine to work in.
