A Lazy August Garden Stroll...

Here we are
in the hot and lazy days of summer,
how did August get here so fast?

Wanna join me in my garden?

stroll along on a summer day...

the Lilies,
their powerful heady fragrance,
fills the air...

Rose of Sharon,
basking in the sun...

Anemones popping open,
with fading Valerian below...

the Roses...

a fluffy and a bit tattered
spray of  Mortimer Sackler...

Eden soaking up the morning sun...

Sceptered Isle...

Bee Balm,
much too red for my garden...

the Bee Balm is a
Hummingbird paradise...

I'm going to have to look
for a lighter variety...

Toadflax...

seed pods everywhere,
pretty in their own right,
summer is passing too soon...

we have started some painting projects,
last week the front rails,
next the columns,
the porch floor...

so much to squeeze in...

so many lazy days ahead...

today I am joining...
and

Thanks for joining me
for a garden stroll today....

OMG, Bella! Your garden looks fantastic! Gorgeous, gorgeous photos. The blooms are so airy and soft and beautiful, and I love the way you have "staged" them. The lighting is so different. The photo with the reflection of a garden structure in the window is wonderful! The opening shot of your beautiful fence and house too. Love how you have painted your porch rails with different colors. Such a treat to see! xx

A very lovely stroll, Bella - the gardens are beautiful and the little glimpse of your home so pretty. Summer has gone by too fast, but September is always a lovely month to look forward to. The porch railings are wonderful - love those soft colors. Enjoy your weekend - maybe we will get some much needed rain! xo

Bella it's been so long since I visited last, and what a beautiful post to come back to. A wonderful wander through your pretty garden, but I know from past visits there is SO MUCH more to see and do here. Love you & your garden I only wish I could visit in person and smell the wonderful aromas that are there Love Dawn xx

Despite the lateness of the season, your garden is still very beautiful, Bella! I'm always saddened to see August draw to a close, knowing that it means the last of the flowers will stop blooming soon. Wishing you a lovely week ahead.
