Roses and Rosemary...

Winter is in the air,
Christmas songs are playing everywhere...

I usually wait until
after Thanksgiving to
start decorating for Christmas...

but,
I have already started,
just a bit...

I thought
I would share my fall sideboard
with you...

 these photos are from
last week
before the frost hit...

actually,
I don't think I have shown my sideboard,
since I painted it
and added a plate rail...

I have been very lazy this fall!

bringing out
the silver is one of my favorite fall things,
I love it's warm glow...
\

and,
candlelight....

I always bring my big old Rosemary pot
up close to  the house for the winter...

and right before the first hard frost
bring lots of sprigs inside...

the smell
transitions me right into a winter mood...

those Eden Roses
from the top of the arbor,
made it inside too...

Pinecones gathered in October,
are getting ready for a Christmas makeover...

I had planned to bleach them,
but am afraid of the bleachy smell...

so,
 I think
I will white wash them instead...

and polish the
warm glow off the silver...

I am in the mood
for a bright and shiny
White Christmas...

I am linking up to..

Thanks for stopping by...

Bella it's all lovely. I so like silver tarnished or shiny, but I'm into shiny at the moment too. I finally started my Christmas decorating today and am not sure if I'll leave it as is. It's just not quite right yet. Plenty of time to tweak though. xx

Beautiful this post of silver decorations with the roses. A great idea to bring in some rosemary sprigs, something I am going to follow for in the greenhouse I cannot smell it, too cold over there.

Wow, I just love this Bella. You must pin this!! So beautiful, creativity flows through you. I am getting in the mood for Christmas myself and will have a new "theme" this year. I'm doing plenty of silver and kind of a white cottage Christmas theme. I can't wait to start decorating!

The sideboard looks beautiful with the silver and pieces of the garden. How do you polish your silver? Mine needs a polish and was wondering what you do. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Take care, Jen

I will be making tiny wreaths with my rosemary. Our first frost doesn't usually come till end of Dec. or Jan. So I have time still. I am enjoying the last blooms of my roses too and they will be on the Thanksgiving tables. Yours is beautiful!

Your sideboard is lovely, Bella. I have been eyeing the spruce, holly, and ivy around the cottage and will be bringing boughs inside soon!
