January Randomness...

I thought
I would share some everyday
randomness...

January is such an odd month,
it feels like it moves at a snails pace...

when really,
Christmas has only been packed away
for less than a month...

it seems like forever ago...

January is simple...

quiet...

I take random photos...

just something
that catches my eye...

but,
 not enough for a post...

or
maybe leftovers from a post that ran long....

there are so many cloudy dreary days here,
sometimes pictures are taken
but they just look flat...

except for one...

a lovely orphaned photo...

catching up on random posts...

 here are my potted Crocus
 leaning into the sun...

I think we have all wanted
to lean into the sun this month...

the blooms
only lasted two days...

but they were a glorious sight...

my lovely lady
sits quietly in the Winter Garden...

lost in thought...

the first Hellebore bloom
of the year....

a happy sight...

I am ready to bid farewell
to January...

the
Month of Love Knocks at the Door....

I Love it when You stop by...

Hi Bella!!!!

I know how you feel!!!

Being up here in Vancouver, BC, we've had grey skies on and off with a very cold fog.

I know East of here is getting slammed with winter and I always feel bad that I really don't have much to whine about living here where the grass is always green, but,......I can't wait for Spring!!!

To see the new growth and flowers coming alive again and to see all the different birds, always amazes me!!!

The one thing I've really enjoyed have been the humming birds that have been coming to my feeder, the woodpecker and different other birds I haven't seen before, coming to the birds square filled with food for them. It's such a treat!!!

I love your crocuses and adore the tea pot that you've used!!! You have a beauty of a house and garden and I love all your furkids!!! Being an animal lover, I could never understand a home without a pet, but, that's just my opinion!! LOL!!!

Have a great weekend Bella!!!!

Lovely photos! We had a couple days of sun, although it was still very cold. I too leaned into it and turned my face to absorb a moment of it's glorious rays.

You have a lovely blog that I found through Shabbilicious. I'm a new follower. Have a wonderful weekend! ~Deborah

Beautiful photos! I too feel glad that January is leaving. We are getting a little snow often which means when we get to March and April when we traditionally get wet heavy snow - we will feel it was a long wintertime.

Hi Bella, I really enjoyed your randomness post. Life is so much about discovering beauty every day in little and random things and you did it perfectly. I especially like your first shot with the roses in the beautiful white pitcher and also the one with the crocuses planted in the lovely vintage china sunbathing on the window sill.
Here we have a dreary morning today and it rains at least a little, but after having hardly any winter rains I am so happy about that! Wishing you a nice weekend!

Lovely romantic pictures as always, especially the crocuses in china in the sunny windowsill beckon to spring.

Pretty gorgeous and dreamy! Crocus is over the top pretty in that light. I love the slowness of January. Adieu to you. . .

These are lovely thoughts, Bella, with such evocative images. January is a strange month. But you are so lucky to have things blooming already! The crocus look so pretty on the window, although they may be leaning and longing to be outdoors with their Hellebore friend. (Do flowers talk? I'm guessing yes....) Have a beautiful weekend!

Such a enchanting post. Yes, January moves at a snails pace. Good riddance, I say! Bring on Spring. it's 45 here today in NJ and believe it or not, just a quick hint of spring can be "felt". That won't last long as we are getting more snow this upcoming week. We always have social media to warm us though!

Gorgeous photos, Bella! I've never grown crocus indoor before. They look so sweet! I agree that Christmas seems like it was so very long ago even if January flew by. Have a nice weekend.

hi Bella, I love the beautiful Silver hearts.....I want some too!
I appreciate the way you hang your roses up to dry...I do that too. They look so delicate and I just find them so charming to have around even after they have lost most of their color they still have a blush of youth to share....
thank YOU for sharing.
