Awakenings...

The heavy perfume
of Winter Daphne,
awakens my nose in late Winter...

an old friend,
whom your excited to see each year...

announcing the
end of Winter is near...

I filled a salt shaker
with the tiny blooms...

it's all you need to fill a room
with the Smell of Spring...

so sweet...

I'll blow a whiff
your way...
:-)

I enjoyed another beautiful day
 in the garden...

and was surprised to see
Honey Bees at work too...

busy as a bee...

the opposite of busy as a bee
was what Daisy was today...

lazy...

after a long day in the garden
we are all pretty dog tired tonight...

Happy Weekend,
I hope you have something bright and cheery planned...

tonight I am joining

Thanks for stopping by,

SO many exotics in your garden. I don't know that I have ever heard of Winter Daphne. Looks sweet. So does your Daisy. Nice that you're getting sunny days! We have a chance of rain tomorrow. Cross your fingers! xx

Oh, what beautiful blooms. Great shot of the honey bee. I'm always happy to see bees buzzing in my garden.
We had a beautiful day here, but I wasn't in the garden. Was out and about with two girl friends lunching and shopping. A nice day in a different way.
Enjoy your garden this weekend.

Hi Bella!!!

Did I ever tell you how much I love Daisy and Iris!!! They are so sweet!!!!

I thought we were done with winter up here in Vancouver, but, I guess not. Looks like we are expecting snow tomorrow. We've actually had a great winter with only 5 days of snow and that was not 5 days in a row.

I want to go out and get some Winter Daphne!!! They sound wonderful!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

How I enjoy strolling through your garden, perhaps even more so when it's 22 below zero here in Minnesota right now! And, of course, it's always heartwarming to see your precious Daisy.

Lovely post. The salt shaker with the Daphne looks like a beautiful fragrant 'tussi-mussi'. And at your place gardening time has started too, even Daisy is tired, love to see her again.

Beautiful blooms! A salt shaker as a small vase is a clever idea. I also like the handkerchief with the embroidery; it's so delicate.
Have a nice weekend!

Love the pretty flowers in the salt shaker - looks so Spring.
We are finally getting much needed rain since Wednesday and I love it.
The dogs don't but they run out do what they have to and stand by the dog door and wait to be dried off.
Your dogs are so pretty - I'm sure they helped with your gardening LOL
Have a great weekend.
