A Camillia Bouquet...

Usually our Camellia
have some damage from frosty nights,
a little brown around the edges...

so I consider them to be
a nice colorful bush for the garden,
not something for flowers
to be plucked from...

with such nice weather
this year was different...

so pluck I did...

I have never made a Camellia bouquet
and found the best way was with floral oasis...

because they were so pretty...

and they felt a little vain,
I set them in front of a mirror...

I love the dreamy feel,
the distortion this old mirror creates...

sprigs of Flowering Plum
where tucked in
to soften it up...

Happy Weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by today...

Dear Bella, this is the most beautiful bouquet that I have seen in a long time. The vase that you have chosen is perfect and placing the arrangement in front of the old mirror gives it a very romantic feel. Well done!

How beautiful, Bella. My camellia blooms and buds were nipped in the recent freezes, but today I noticed a new bloom and several buds. ;-)

They are gorgeous! Are camellias related to roses?
They do look so similar.

Your camellias are beautiful in a bouquet. Such pretty colors. My two bushes had so many flowers on them this year.
Can hardly wait to see your beautiful garden all in bloom.
Have a great Spring weekend.

You have so many different Camellias, just gorgeous. Your bouquet looks so beautiful and very special. I have camellias in my garden too but never dared to cut branches for a bouquet. Now I am thinking shall I or shall I not.
Have a nice weekend!

oh my god that is so gorgeous! I love camellias. When I visited Australia a friend had a huge bush but no flowers inside, well, I HAD to! I went out and cut some things here and there and lots of camellias and when she saw the vases all over her house her mouth fell open with the beauty....they are gorgeous. thanks for visiting me and leaving your lovely comments. hugs. lady

Bella, your camellia bouquet is absolutely gorgeous!! My camellia didn't do so well this year unfortunately. I think it was the cold and bad weather. Mine is a double red, but I love, love, love your pinks! I think I'm going to have to plant some more for next year! Enjoy that beautiful bouquet!

Sitting here today going over these past few posts I have missed since the last time I visited, I am in awe Bella. You can grow so many things that I am not able to and I love seeing how you have photographed the beautiful camellias. Each photo is gorgeous. I loved seeing your daffodil arrangements and the grape hyacinths in your previous posts too! Your blog header is stunning!
I love your gardens, your home and of course, you! (oh, and your IG :)

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment you left at Kris' blog. It has been such a gift to get to know you.
sending hugs....
