Roses the Details...

The Roses are off to a wonderful start
this year!

I am always dazzled by the variety of Roses...
the sizes
 the shapes
the ruffles!

I will let you "walk" quietly,
so you can admire their lovely details...

And nothing is gained by not gathering roses"

There is a wonderful rose garden in Portland, OR near the Japanese Gardens called the rose test gardens and it has hundreds of varieties you cannot find anymore!
Then there is Heirloom Rose Gardens which you can even order roses online or go to their beautiful gardens to see the varieties.

Your blog has been a favorite for a long time. I would love to know the names of your roses. Our zones are different and I'm sure you grow some that I can't. I'm on the other side of the state, zone 5. If you are ever in my neck of the woods, don't miss Northland Rosarium just outside Spokane. The gardens behind the greenhouses are breathtaking in June and July especially. Thank you for letting us tour. My roses are just now coming into bloom.

Your roses are so beautiful, Bella! I wish I had more room here to plant more, but I am thankful that we do have some planting area around our condo. I did put in a pink rose as well as a mini to enjoy. When we lived in NY I had several different roses and I really loved all of them.

I came over to enjoy your roses. I knew they would be beautiful! I had one David Austin rose but it died in this last harsh winter. Your photos are beautiful Bella!
