October Garden....

 As October
comes to an end in  the garden...

won't you take a little garden stroll with me?

I always find it ironic...

the garden glowing all golden and warm,
is actually so cold and brisk...

roses going to hips...

the last leaves hang on the trees now....

I look forward to the days
of bare branches...

days of clean white snow,
lining the branches...

the Roses are wilting...

Wilted Roses

"some women feel the need
to act like they are never scared,
needy or hurt;

like they are as hardened as a man.

I think that's
dishonest.

It's OK to feel delicate sometimes.

Real Beauty is in the fragility of your petals,
A Rose that never wilts isn't a Rose at all."

Mother Nature
has taken over the chore
of keeping the birdbath full...

it has been a very wet month
 here in the Pacific Northwest...

the Hydrangea's fading blooms
have turned lovely rich shades
of purple and plum...

Daisy and Cosmo delight in exploring,
their mornings busy rooting around under the leaves....

in the afternoons the girls stay busy
napping in the sun on the back of the couch....

stay snuggly...

I am so grateful for your company today...

It is sad to watch colors fading away. It makes us appreciate the spring so much more when it returns.

So pretty in your garden, Bella, even as it begins its long winter sleep. The pups really know how to enjoy life! So sweet! xx K

Bella, your images are incredible! I admire your garden talents and your photography talents. Your girls look comfy. Sadie is curled up on the ottoman at my feet.
