Gathering Memories and Roses....

Here in Seattle,
we are a week away from breaking a historic record....

for the longest dry spell
next Monday it will have been 52 days with no rain
(yes Seattle,  What?)

to beat that
we have a really hot week ahead,
Thursday is forecasted at 102...

so needless to say the second flush of roses
has been minimal...

I did forage up
this luscious basket of rose the other day...

what the Summer has not been in gardening
it has been in road trips and daycations...

if you wanna keep up with my everyday life
friend request me at my personal Face Book...

I have been having a really great Summer.

I hope you have too,

Stop and smell the roses,
Summer is flying by...

Oh my, that arrangement is just stunning! You are truly an inspiration for acquisition of David Austin roses. I have purchased a few but next year am thinking of acquiring more and replacing some un-Austin roses. I live just north of you and am sort of dreading this upcoming hot spell. I will definitely be watering morning and evening to keep my babies happy :)

Gorgeous flowers!! Here in NH we have had a very wet summer and not terribly hot. Last year, no rain spring or summer and very hot. Your roses don't look like they suffering too terribly, an absolutely beautiful arrangement! Hope you can stay cool. Linda

Fantastic roses, Bella. Love the colors. Here we almost have a record of rain this summer, so all the flowers and roses had a hard time. Wish you a great weekend
