May in the Garden....

It's about time
I take you on a garden tour!

It's been a month of weather extremes,
and so much has come and already gone...

we have a lot of catching up to do...

Clematis up on the gazebo roof,
almost hiding the swallow nesting box...

I am still hoping
a sweet couple will build a nest this year...

the garden bursting with spring blooms...

we had a hot spell
right as the Allium bloomed...

they came and went so fast...

as did the Lilacs...

Blue Bells ringing in the spring......

a view down a foot path...

the same view a moment sooner...

when inquiring dogs
wanted to know what was so interesting
that I was sitting on the ground...

Valerian and the first of the Roses...
Old Blush China Rose...

purple mornings...

Randy out for a morning stroll...

Columbines and bright blue skies...

late afternoon shadows...

Jacob's Ladder in the front
and pink Columbine dancing in the background...

the delight of unfurling Roses...

a good morning greetings from Cecile Brunner Rose,
a nice way to wake up...

Thanks for joining me in my garden today....

Just where I wanted to start my morning...a beautiful garden such as yours. I could almost smell the flowers.

Hi
I love your blog!!!
Your Garden is so beautiful. So soft looking and the colors all go together so perfectly. Is your Gazebo screened in? ours is not and in the summer we have tons of mosquitos and knats eating us. Do you have that problem in your area?
You have given me so many ideas on planting. Our backyard was destroyed by last years hurricane and the year before. We are starting from scratch:) well we have already started of course. Its so nice to see a garden all done. Well no garden is ever done right:) have a wonderful day today

Absolutely beautiful! Wow. It looks so pretty and lush there. We've had nothing but rain all week so everything is very green and growing but so wet. Have a great Memorial Day weekend. (We had our long weekend last weekend). Blessings, Pamela

Beautiful! Can't wait to see all of those DA roses in bloom this year Bella! I bought mine DA rose at the same time you did last year. It went into full bloom this week. I will put the photos on next week. you will have vases and vases of blooms! we have had a really wet spring that has helped.

Your gardens are so pretty and I always love seeing pictures of your dogs. I hear you about extreme weather--we had brought the fans out of the attic and now the heat is coming on!

Your gardens must be amazing from the pictures I have seen. Barn swallows are one of my favorite birds. Although they do not nest around our home, they do at the neighboring farm. They come to graze on insects every time I mow the lawn, fun to watch them swoop down around you. Have a wonderful weekend. Alaina
