Lavender Wreath...

(click photos to enlarge)

This morning I took a trip out to a local Lavender farm...
Mountain Meadow Lavender...

it was so much fun...
I will share with you some pics of the pretty fields
 in a couple days...

Today I thought I would share my new wreath...

I picked four fat bundles of Lavender...

three of this Royal Velvet...
(good description huh?)

and one of this White Spears...

so nontraditional,
but so pretty!

here is my new SWEET new wreath...

there is no better job in the world than playing with Lavender....

It is just a simple twig wreath
with bundles of Lavender wired on....

I loved this reflection of the Chandelier
and had to share....

I used the white Lavender
just for accent,
and a few rose buds tucked in made it perfect...
(in my eyes :-)

UPDATE...
I have added my trip to the Lavender Farm here
if you would like to visit it...

Today I am joining...
and

Thanks for stopping by....

Oh, that is so pretty! I love lavender and mine is in full bloom right now. I've been cutting small bundles and drying them and gave some away. Your wreath is gorgeous with the white and pink too.

Dearest Bella,

Perfect color scheme; lavender with pink roses... Cleverly done! You're lucky to find such beauties in your area. And you got roses... we have NONE due to the heat + drought. Too bad, the first time ever that I cannot fill a single vase with roses from our garden. Enjoy them for me!

Lots of love,

Mariette

How pretty! You did a fabulous job on making this extra special. LOVE the roses & that color combination always makes my ♥ sing.

I just found out there is a lavender farm not too far from me. I'm going to check it out.
Thanks for the inspiration.

The lavender wreath you made must have a delicious fragrance. I had told myself I was going to try some kind of small lavender project this year, but it seems I've waited too long to harvest any buds. Truthfully, I thought about it, but was reluctant to cut them from the plant that was looking quite happy. Pity there isn't a lavender farm nearby! -Karen

Hi, really white and roses were perfect. Can you teach me how you held the bundles of lavender? Did you use a circle as a support wire for tying a bundle on the right side and one on the left, so that the ends of the beams are in lavender top of the circle and then tied roses and lavender and white ribbon? Can you teach me to ride, please? thank you.
