Whites in the Garden...

I am going to take you into the garden today..
No boots or umbrellas required today!
It's a beautiful day for gardening..
and I have been out enjoying it all day!

A cute little white trellis,
I bought at Joann's Fabrics this spring.

I can't remember this plants name..
it has been in one of my flower beds for a few years.
It has the loveliest clusters of purple flowers,
and.. it is the most aggressive creeper!

I finally gave up on the battle and dug it out
and potted a bit of it.

A close-up of white Alyssum.
It's easy to overlook just how pretty
these clumps of tiny flowers are...
It's also nice being so close,
because they smell so good:-)

My Columbines are holding on...

The Delphiniums are really starting to bloom...

I love this white one with the layers of ruffled petals..

My foxgloves are starting to bloom too..
so elegant...

This white wire dress form is on my back patio..

I bought this little hanging tin wall pocket
at a garage sale.
and made her a pocket of flowers for her skirt :-)

That's all for today..
I hope you enjoyed searching the garden for whites
with me:-)

Today I am joining two fun parties!

Garage Sale Roses...

Saturday... I went out to a few more garage sales.
So,  I thought I would share with you
some of the pretties I found :-)

(click photos to enlarge)

Roses Roses Roses
I bought these all at one sale
for three dollars!

These two rosy cups,  no saucers...

They match.. the bud is on one side
and  the bloom on the other.

I thought they had an unusual stamp..
the only word I can read is China.

Here is one of the two plates I bought,
they are Hand Painted
Prussian China
Royal  Ruddlstadt.

They were by far my favorite purchase.
When your heart pitter patters
for one dollar a piece plates
it's a good day!

Here is a close up of the beautiful roses
on the first plate...

and...  A close up of the second plate,
it has a hair line crack,
but I am not complaining...

I would love to be talented enough to paint
dreamy roses like this!

and... Here is a little oval bowl
by Homer Laughlin
with some more delicate roses.

I am going to use it in the bathroom
to hold some pretty soaps.

So all and all it was a very rosy day :-)

Today.. I am joining

New Pink Teacups...

This morning I went out
and visited a few garage sales:-)

(click photos to enlarge)
Sorry..  This first one won't enlarge
I don't know why?

I was so excited when I found this group of Pink Teacups..
I knew right away I would have to share them
with the Pink Ladies
for Pink Saturday!

It's an uneven set of...
eight cups and five plates.

But what a deal at twenty dollars!

They are the Georgian pattern
by Homer Laughlin...

Don't they have a pretty bouquet?

and... one of my Pink Peonies
floated in the cup.

Flowers, flowers, everywhere...
Isn't that the best part of summer?

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
I can't wait to go to more sales in the morning!

Today I am joining...
