A Time of Gathering...

For me fall is a time of gathering,

a time to feather my nest...

A beautiful Autumnal day

is a call to gather...

So I went on a small local country drive...

(there is beautiful Mount Rainer in the Background)

Looking for Rose Hips...

I filled my basket...

I trimmed and displayed them in small votive cups,

along the top of my sideboard..

With warm candlelight...

and sparkly crystals....

The soft and cheery glow 

is sure to drive away

any dread of the pending cold nights:-)

A pretty Autumn day

a perfect time to stroll the garden...

A Pacific Tree Frog hiding in the Hydrangea

hurries to get away....

The Beauty Berries

are turning vivid purple...

My garden rabbit

guards the last Foxglove bloom...

The blooms of the Sedum

 announce Falls arrival...

The Delphinium welcome the cool weather

and bloom in all their glory...

The Sweetness Rose

sends out a late bloom...

My trusty Gertrude Jekyll

is still

a lady of great beauty...
