A Bright Sunshiny Day...

I awoke to a beautiful day....

(click photos to enlarge)
(high hopes roses)

and snapped this photo,
from my front porch
as the last haze was burning off Mount Rainer...

The Dahlias are blooming...

Their so pretty purple dipped petals
deserved a close-up :-)

My Ebb Tide roses are up for more blooms...

The  sweet Ballerina Roses are also happy...

The Potato Vine
still dripping with the mornings dew
is covered in bright red berries....

(high hopes roses and cupids darts)

Of course a few days of good weather
mean there is lots of work to do in the garden,
these blooms were causalities of pruning
and will be enjoyed on my nightstand...

The Cottage Rose
is a beauty and smells wonderful...
I couldn't resist bringing in a bouquet...

Happy Lady Bugs
are abundant and wandering everywhere:-)

Today I am joining...

Thanks for joining me today...

Huckleberry flavored black tea
in a simple
cream colored Spode cup...

Autumn colored Lantana blossoms...

A farm fresh Karmijn De Sonneville apple...

and a pretty view of the last glistens of sun
through the trees...

A relaxing moment
good for the soul...

Today I am joining these lovely ladies for tea...

Sweetness...

After a few days
without a hint of pink...

It is time to return to the sweetness
of Pink...

A pretty in Pink bowl
from the thrift store...

Accompanied by Mary Rose....

Makes my heart sing...

Attention to detail
is one of the qualities
I appreciate in vintage dishes...

Adding these roses
to the underside of a shallow bowl
seldom to be seen...
Makes a delightful view for those willing to notice!

Today's tablecloth
another favorite pink purchase

A set of long curtain panels and valances
(long enough to skim the floor of my tall Victorian windows)

 Maybe I will make pillows
or use them as curtains :-)

Almost certainly you will see them for now
used as a pretty sheer tablecloth :-)

I hope you find your bit of sweetness this weekend!
