The Girls' First Birthday...

Today was the girls first birthday!
Where does the time go?

I made them a pair of party hats....
cause they are my little princesses :-)

Daisy my girly girl
hammed for the camera....

but Iris,
looked sick...

I don't think my little tom boy
enjoyed her hat too much...

in fact...
she tried to ruin Daisy's fun,
by chewing her hat off...

not knocking off her own...

n the end,
the excitement was too much,
so they just slept :-)

off with the hats...
and on with the party :-)

Today I am joining
and

Thanks for stopping by today...

Popping up....

Well it is about time I popped up!
Time has been getting away from me lately,
and I miss my blog...

We have been enjoying a few spring like days
I have been doing lots of garden clean up...

I thought maybe you would enjoy a mini garden stroll?
I'll show you whats popping up...

I found these perfect Pansies
tucked into the backside of a pot,
beside the fence...

in their protected nook,
they road out the winter well...

the Rockcress
is just beginning to bloom
and spill over the rockery...

the first round of early Crocus is fading....

but a new later round is coming to
take over...

over the winter
we removed a couple large trees,
so I have been busy redoing the beds...

these clumps of Crocus
were dug up before the work began
and are today's job.

dividing and replanting...

I will end our mini garden stroll
with the happy face of a Pansy...
smiling at you :-)

and

Thanks for joining me today....

Flowers on the Doorstep...

The planter on my doorstep
is always the first to get planted...

it's the easiest to enjoy
and the easiest to care for when skies
aren't very springy :-)

like today...
we have had wind, rain,  sun, and rainbows
repeat, repeat and repeat...
snow has even snown up on the weekend forecast...

yes it looks like spring has arrived!

another benefit of my close-by planter,
it's easy to sneak out and throw a sheet
over the plants on a cold night...

and whats not to enjoy?

oh,  happy pansies!

Hyacinth are the smell of spring to me,
what is your favorite?

these little tete a tete daffodil bulbs
were never lifted last year
and are coming up randomly...

I love random...

special delivery...

don't you wish the postman brought flowers!

today I am joining...

Thanks for stopping by
my doorstep today...
