It's SPRING!

Yes,  It's spring...

I know it officially started
a couple weeks ago...

but,  it hasn't been feeling too springy here,
until this weekend...

it was beautiful,
it was glorious...

the garden is a buzz...
blooms are popping open everywhere...

would you like to take a stroll?

the big old Magnolia in the front garden,
was the first tree we planted when we moved in...

there are a pair of smaller Magnolia shrubs
in the back...

this one the softest lavender shade...

this one pure white...

the Rockcress spills over the rockery...

a watering can in the background
lives a life of leisure this time of year,
it's services
completely unnecessary...

each season bring it's own surprises...

the Daffodil in the back
has a single trumpet....

the flower in the front,
seems to be a triple decker!

the bed has several of each style...

the evening song in the garden
is thick with the croaking of frogs...

I spotted the first eggs cluster this morning...

a patch of Anemone
sways softly in the breeze...

a lazy rabbit keeps watch
from a patch of faded Crocus...

these mystery flowers
come from a plant sale
several years ago....

can you name my mystery flower?

sweet Camellia...

potted Hyacinth
are a inside favorite in early spring...

for years,
I have been replanting them outside,
forming a boarder...

perfect for cutting :-)

Today I am joining...
and
Thanks for strolling with me today...
Happy Spring!

Bonnets and Bunnies...

The B's of Easter....

Bonnets and Bunnies...

as a diversion from the rain...

I popped into a little antique mall
for a some retail therapy...

and popped out with a sweet vintage bonnet...

a floppy velvet bow...

and
forget-me-nots
wrapped in a soft tattered net...

the Sweetness of Easter...

and of course you can't forget the Easter Bunny!

He is in charge of the sweets:-)

and since I am on a diet...
(forgive me that foul word!)

I am hoping somebunny
fills my basket
with some of that new Rachael Ashwell
bedding at Target...

Have you seen the lavender set?
dreamy...

Tonight I am joining,
and

Thanks for stopping by today...

Yellow....

Yellow,
isn't a color I am drawn to
too easily...

give me the
peacefulness of quiet white,
the magic of purple,
or well, the pink of roses...
any day

but,
in the early spring...

when the big yellow orb in the sky
is playing cat and mouse behind the clouds,
I crave yellow...

the only yellow flowers
in my garden
are these tete daffodils

they trumpet in the spring...

a fat yellow stripe
on a teacup
oozes spring cheer...

the only yellow orb around here today
is floating in my tea :-)

a cup of sunshine...

Today I am sharing tea at...
and
I am joining the fun at

Thanks for stopping by...
