Stormy Early June in the Garden...

It's already June,
where is the time going?

How about a stroll through the garden?

I would love for you to join me,
but do be prepared...

you may need,
sunglasses,
wellies,
a sweater
an umbrella...

it has been stormy,
and the weather is changing at every turn...

the early spring sun
and the recent rain,
have caused a flower explosion...

Columbine...

Jacob's Ladder...

Sweet Rocket...

It seems it's all blooming at once...
I admit I am overwhelmed!

the Allium
came and went so fast...

the Peonies have already
come into full bloom...

the first Bonica Roses,
are going to burst open
at any moment!

they are low on fragrance,
but high on the pitter patter scale...

Zephirine Drouhin,
looking the best she ever has...

now this lady smells good!

a basket full of Pansies...

she sits quietly,
contemplating...

Today I am joining...
and

Thanks for strolling with me today...

Eye Candy...

I have made it out and about
to a few garage sales lately...

I seem to randomly, unexpectedly
come upon a theme...

an impromptu collection...

I must be craving sparkle,
and sweetness...

because,
I have been picking up crystal candy dishes...

filling them with
eye candy...

garden fresh,
with lets call it dew...

(because I really am tired of calling it rain)

Eden...

Harlow Carr...

delicate and soooo sweet....

Winchester Cathedral...

deliciously white,
with a tiny tinge of pink at the edge...

the Queen of Sweden...

regal,
amazing...

my nose is doing
 a happy dance....

Today I am joining...
and

Thanks for visiting me today...

Sunday Drive...

Do you love a lazy Sunday Drive?

feet up on the dash,
not a care in the world...

last Wednesday we went for a long drive
(it doesn't really have to be Sunday :-)
East on HWY 12

I thought you might like to come along...

these cute little lake houses
sit along Ohop Lake...

they make me wanna pack up
and spend a long summer sitting on the dock...

we stopped for lunch
on a meadows edge...

the wild grasses already knee high...

common Vetch flowers
twinning up the blades...

wild Lupines were popping up on hillsides...

Blackberries in production...

Christmas Tree farms
dot the rolling hills...

when we got into the small town of Mossyrock,
the real surprise of the trip...

fields of Iris...

PURPLE!

it was a beautiful day,
a day to replenish...

Today I am joining...

Thanks for coming along...
