I have never been bitten
by the travel bug...
I am happy at home,
a true homebody...
but,
I do love a Sunday Drive...
it needn't be far,
just a lazy drive on a country road...
over the past few weeks
I have been enjoying the sights of Spring...
by far
these sweet lambs
were the highlight...
just look at the spots on the left one!
this one smiling,
he must know
just how sweet he is...
there were other Sunday's
enjoying Spring blooms...
tender wild violets,
pushing up through the moss...
a rain soaked bog,
full of Skunk Cabbage...
roadside blooms...
Trillium on the forests floor...
a sandwich lakeside,
watching the world green up again....
young ducks,
falling in love....
this weekends Sunday Drive
was postponed,
due to rain....
lots of rain....
so I just made a quick bouquet of
Tree Peony blooms and Lilacs...
I brought out
my new rosy throw quilt...
Daisy was sure it was
just for her...
as soon as I shooed her away,
Randy jumped up,
eager to take over the warm spot...
well, if you can't beat them,
join them...
Sunday Naps
are almost as good as Sunday Drives....
