Sweet Bar...

To satisfy my sweet tooth,

in this,

the sweetest of all months...

 

I decided to build a Sweet Bar....

 

just a small one

on a table top in the family room...

 

 

a few small apothecary jars

 nestled on a silver tray....

 

 

I made a bunting,

a very simple bunting...

 

just paper punched hearts,

glued on kite string...

 

 

pretty berry bowls

and a silver slotted spoon...

 

perfect to hold a handful...

My Valentine's Day Mantle...

I'm a little late getting started...

 

 

  I dressed my Mantle up

 for Valentines Day today...

 

 

I made a paper heart banner,

for my window...

 

It's a new larger window,

I hung over the mantle

right after Christmas time...

 

I also added the iron candle holders

on each side,

 

I think they need to be softened up

 with some white paint...

and covered in raw silk...
